Privacy Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026
Try My Colors is built to be private by default. The short version: your photos never leave your device, we don't ask for an account or email, and your results are saved only in your own browser.
Photos
When you use the photo color analysis, virtual draping or face shape detector, your photo is processed entirely in your browser by an on-device model. Your photo is never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, and it is discarded when you leave the page. The one exception is optional: in the Outfit Studio, if you add your face and keep “Remember my face on this device” ticked, a small cut-out of your face is saved in your browser so it appears next time. It never leaves your device, and “Remove my face” or “Clear my data” deletes it. To run the model, your browser downloads it once from Google's MediaPipe model storage and jsDelivr; those downloads contain no information about you or your photo.
Results saved on your device
Your quiz and photo results, face shape and cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage so you can see them again on My Results. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it any time with “Clear my data” on that page or by clearing your browser data.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure site performance. They do not use cookies and do not collect personal information or identify individual visitors.
Advertising and cookies
To keep every tool free, we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads load only after you accept on our cookie banner. If you accept, Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, and learn more or opt out of personalized ads at Google's advertising policies.
Affiliate links
Some links to shops are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer may set its own cookies to credit the referral. See our affiliate disclosure.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data on our servers, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Data stored in your browser is under your control. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@example.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
